LET’S FIND A CURE
FOR BRAIN CANCER
At 4DG, we’re driven by love, resilience, and the urgent need for change.
Inspired by Daniel Gordon’s fight against an aggressive brain cancer, our mission is to bring hope to families facing the same devastating diagnosis.
The Ride for Daniel - Ride4DG - is a 1,700 kilometre journey from the Gold Coast to Melbourne. It’s our first event, raising vital funds and awareness for breakthrough research.
But this is just the start. 4DG exists to build a community of support, fund pioneering science, and keep pushing until there are better treatments and ultimately, a cure.

WHY GIVE A BUCK?
Deadliest Cancer for Young Australians
Brain cancer kills more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer in Australia, yet it receives less than 5% of national cancer research funding.
Survival rates haven’t improved in decades. Treatments are limited, aggressive, and often ineffective. For many, there are no second chances.
Your donation helps fund the research that could change that, investing in earlier detection, therapies, and ultimately, a cure.
Support Daniel’s Fight
Brain cancer doesn’t come with a single cure or a simple plan. Every patient’s journey is unique and often overwhelming. Treatments are trial-based, investigational, and rarely fully covered. Many essential medications aren’t listed on the PBS. MRIs every 4–6 weeks, consultations with specialists both locally and internationally, and high out-of-pocket costs quickly add up, even for those with top-tier private health insurance, which itself comes with significant premiums.
For patients like Daniel, navigating this system isn’t just exhausting, it’s financially overwhelming.
This Ride Is for Everyone Who Can’t
This isn’t just about money. It’s about standing up to a disease that takes too much and gives nothing back. Every push, every effort, every dollar raised is a defiant act against brain cancer. This ride is our way of showing up. Of fighting back. Of proving that no one faces brain cancer alone.
Your buck turns this journey into something bigger - a symbol of hope, strength, and solidarity.
